Award Presentation Speech by Chamber President Tom O’Rouke

“A few years ago, the Chamber celebrated its 150th Anniversary. At the time we also rebranded with our new name and logo. We needed to create a new website that reflected our new look and was modern and easy to navigate. The person we turned to was Kerry Aglugub with KMA Web Design. She walked us through the project and I hope you’ll agree that our website is exactly what we were looking for.

Fast forward to last year when we applied for a state grant to assist small businesses impacted by the pandemic. Our plan was to help local businesses by providing them with direct technical assistance which would allow them to adapt to the changing realities by creating a new web presence with updated websites and digital marketing strategies. We knew just the person who could provide that assistance.

Kerry worked with Trish White to assist 6 companies enhance their online presence in 2021 and they are currently working with 8 more this year thanks to additional state funding for the program.

As a testimony to the success of Kerry’s work with our Chamber, our friends at the Metro South Chamber in Brockton have hired Kerry and Trish to do similar work for members of their Chamber.

As one of our members said in nominating Kerry for this award, “She is extremely knowledgeable, highly organized and produces beautifully designed, searchable websites for the participants. She is professional, timely and creates products with services that go beyond expectation.”
