About the Project
This project was a website redesign for Beadesigner International (BDI), a creative enrichment organization that offers arts-based programs, classes, and supportive services for its community. The organization needed a website that felt more welcoming, more organized, and easier to use for families, caregivers, and participants looking for class information, registration details, and program updates.
The existing site needed a clearer structure for showcasing services, ongoing classes, and community-focused programming. The goal was to create a more polished digital presence that highlights Beadesigner International (BDI)’s mission while making it easier for visitors to explore programs and take action.
The Brief
Beadesigner International (BDI) wanted a website that felt warm, creative, and community-centered, while also improving usability. The key requirements included:
- A cleaner, more modern design that better reflects the organization’s personality and programs
- Stronger page structure for services, classes, blog content, FAQs, and contact information
- A homepage that gives visitors a quick overview of what the organization offers
- Dedicated pages for different program areas and service categories
- Better tools for handling registrations, forms, and class-related information
- A site that could support ongoing content updates, including blog posts and future pages
- A platform that works well with third-party tools for events, forms, and e-commerce needs where needed
The website also needed to account for platform limitations, especially around event visibility and online sales, so part of the project involved planning practical workarounds.
Our Approach
Our approach focused on building a website that feels creative and approachable while making the experience simpler for visitors. We wanted the site to better organize programs and services, improve navigation, and create a stronger foundation for future updates.
- Planning
We reviewed the existing website content, service categories, and class structure to create a clearer user experience for visitors. - Design
The visual direction focused on a bright, creative, and welcoming style, with a homepage layout that feels engaging and easy to explore. - Content Organization
We created a stronger page structure so visitors could quickly find information on services, programs, blog content, FAQs, and contact details. - Development
Core pages were built out first, including the homepage, about page, services, blog, FAQs, and contact page, while additional program pages were planned as part of the continuing build. - Platform Support
We also planned around platform-specific limitations and identified where third-party tools would be needed for registrations, forms, and product sales.
The Result
The result is a more organized, visually engaging website that gives Beadesigner International (BDI) a stronger online presence and a better foundation for growth.
Key outcomes include:
- A more polished and welcoming website experience
- Clearer navigation across services, classes, and program pages
- Improved structure for content, forms, and visitor engagement
- A flexible setup that can continue expanding as more pages and features are added
- A stronger platform for showcasing the organization’s work and helping people connect with its programs
The new site gives Beadesigner International (BDI) a clearer way to present its offerings online while supporting both everyday usability and future development.
